“The Hope” is a CSR (Community and Social Responsibility) project initiated by SLQS- Oman (Sri Lankan Quantity Surveyor’s Fraternity in Oman). SLQS Steering Committee year 2019/2020 had decided to go ahead with a CSR project extending SLQS activities beyond the boundaries
Accordingly, SLQS- Oman found a low-income needy family in Katharagama area and decided to donate a house for them. The existing house of them was with clay walls, and clay floors with metal roof sheets. The family is a low-income category family with two children, father, mother and an elderly grandmother, who has no permanent income.
SLQS Oman expresses sincere gratitude for all members who contributed to making this project successful. The project is at 80% progress now.
